My Pizza Background

My background in the Pizza business goes all the way back to when I was 16. I was promoted to Pizzaiolo at the local Italian restaurant: Clemenzas at Uptown. I followed the footsteps of Maurizio who had been making pizzas since he was a kid at his families restaurant back in Palermo. The timing was perfect and I was very fortunate to learn from a person that had this much experience and passion for Pizzas. I worked hard for a few years and became an expert in the wood fired oven. Since then I’ve always appreciated the craft. I now own a wood fired oven at home and enjoy firing it up every now and then.

Logo: Using digital previews, we meticulously designed a logo that resonated with the owners expectations and combined several ideas including the restaurant’s atmosphere. The colors and proposed branding were ultimately extended to the delivery vehicles, pizza boxes and apparel. This consistent branding strategy aimed to cultivate recognition, awareness and customer loyalty.
